This game community is simply disgusting

After over 700 hours of this game, I'm tired of it. If I disable chat, I lose the few communication I can have with my team and people when not cursing you, they simply go afk or immediately quit, putting you into disadvantage. You can't make any mistake. This has came to a level where I simply just can't play with randoms anymore, I began to make mistakes that I would never make playing normally, and I've seen a downgrade into my gameplay as a whole cause of the constant team harassement, being it via chat or bumping me cause we were losing 1-0 at 20 seconds of game. I feel like at the start of every ranked we are already losing, and this pressure's me to a state so I dont feel alright to play and commit much more mistakes I would do casually. However, when I play with my friends for fun (I'm C1 and they are Gold 3 and Plat 3), I dont feel such pressure and play much better, which continues for a while after we disband and I start to play solo queue again. I just feel relieved that I dont need to attend high expectations neither be the perfect machine that dont miss at anything. Be aware you all who keep blaming your teammates for everything, YOU can be the one who'll deconcetrate it or the one who workout via teamwork for a victory or even a nearly impossible comeback. Good luck for everyore who's on the journey but now I'm just tired to go on, can't play trying to being kind (this is the hardest thing, when sometimes you lose your cool and starts to be toxic yourself, messing everything up) with everyone nor having fun with this game anymore... Anyways, I hope you all find a teammate who'll cooperate, learn and be kind, despite it's seens nearly impossible to occurr...

Blame Psyonix. They created the matchmaking that drives people mad. All to sell more precious lootboxes.

If you're Div IV in any rank, you will be matched with someone who can't even hit the ball. Yet they're your same rank. If you can be so good to carry the game. This person gets boosted. They didn't belong at that level in the first place. But that's the way Psyonix does it.

It's easy to get mad at a teammate who really doesn't belong in the same game, but who put them there - PSYONIX. Sometimes you're the guy bringing down a better player.

DON"T TAKE YOUR ANGER OUT ON YOUR TEAMMATE. BLAME PSYONIX.

Come here and vent and let them know what a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ system you think they have.

I spread the TRUTH. Matchmaking is manipulated. That is an argument you can't win. It's debatable whether there is pitch tilt or not. But matchmaking is most definitely used to influence the outcome of games. I realized there's no point getting angry with my teammate. It's not their fault, they just don't belong. PSYONIX put them there. So the blame and anger is directed to Psyonix. Do you work for them? Why so much defending them?

That's the goal of paid posters. Obfuscate, derail topics, get posters angry so they get banned. They start arguments with legit players and are never banned themselves. Sad.

Funny enough, this is one of the games I go to when I don't feel great. I can't say much for the community outside of Brazil, especially when it comes to ranked, but there's plenty of there here as well, I won't deny that. But I did find kind randoms more so than I did rude ones.

But if there's one thing I've learned is that, if someone's complaining that you made a mistake, they're bound to make even more. I remember this one time when my team started losing within the first few seconds, one of the dudes called us noobs and all kinds of things. He was so bitter. Everyone ignored him. Then, as the game ended, not only did my team win by a lot of points, but the dude who complained in the first place did no points whatsoever, not even with assists. I see this happen quite often cuz the players who are confident in their skills will just do what they do best even if others in their team do one or two mistakes.

I guess it comes with the genre (e-sports, I mean). League of Legends has always had a pretty toxic community and other MOBAs, while not as bad, can also be quite toxic. I hear that for the most part, Overwatch and other team-based shooters have decent communities but there will always be one or more rotten apples mixed among the ripe ones. And plus, people ALWAYS think they know best. I can't count the times I thought to myself "you could've done this or that" when another player missed a shot or a save, but moments later I remember that I do the same sort of mistakes cuz I'm human and missing shots and saves is nothing but natural.

If you are not using teleportation to try and rotate in an adequate manner, you will upset some people. Those people are grand champs stuck in an inferior rank and they will let you know all about it. They play a perfect game, every single second of a match, and would be RLCS champions if it wasn't for you.

For real though, my suggestion is to keep chat on, enjoy the game with the many nice people who are playing and if you get matched up with a saltilted guy, just turn off chat and practice your goalkeeping and let him ballchase, or something else productive. Don't let their toxicity influence you man.
