Ok, sorry for the lame joke.
What OS are you using? Is the DS4 connected via USB or bluetooth?
Did you try resetting the controller (pressing the small button on the backside) and reconnecting it?
jup habe ich auch schon probiert, hatte mir auch diesen Input Mapper for Windows runtergeladen selbst das programm erkennt den controller nicht...habe den controller über usb angesteckt..
Plug in your controller with usb (that was the issue for me should be the same for you)
Go to control panel>Hardware and sound>Devices and printers
There should be the controller being detected as an audio device displayed there, double click it and a popup shows up. Go to hardware and a bunch of options show up.
Click on the "Wireless controller" that has the icon of a speaker, go to properties and disable device.
After that the controller should be recognized as a controller and no longer an audio device and you can turn it back on if you like having the controller sound
try all the steps.
But when I plugged my Ps3 controller without installing anything, the controller buttons werent recognized even on windows devices.
So it has to be recognized as a working controller in windows first..
I cant get my ps4 controller working again tried everything mentioned above and no joy. Oh well windows is over due for a fresh install anyway.
