I have been playing a bit and can't seem get to Canada, so is it even real?

Really my only complaint is that in the majority of playthroughs I've never been able to afford anything at the majority of trading camps I've visited. I'm not sure if this is poorly implemented, or intentional to create a more dire sense of difficulty, or maybe if trading camps are only really there for players who lose the rest of their party and suddenly have food to spare. Or maybe trading camps just solely for the longer "increased days to Canada" modes where wealth is more likely. Game is a master...

I've been playing for alomst 9 hours and I feel like I'm not reaching the end goal of this game.

I bought ZP+ 1 and 2 in the hopes they'll help me get more. But after that I don't know what else to spend on

I'm playing the game on PC, so why can't i use my mouse buttons to attack!? This option should be in the game on launch.
