activate depots?

trying for the mission for the north, efficiency, to activate three depots on every compatibal terrain

what does this mean? I have had that three different terrains with three depots are linked to every appropriate field, I have had them next to the hall of heroes nothing

It means every terrain piece is connected to the appropriate depot. All of them. Not just having each depot activate. They must be connected to every single terrain piece of their type.

For the depots, it means they must increase the depot's resources. (i.e. Activating the depot's effect.)

Been awhile since I played it but I think what Kaysoky is saying galmedrhel in English is let's say your board has 8 forest tiles, 10 plain tiles, 2 forest depots, and 1 plain depot. The plain depot was be "connected" TO ALL TEN plain tiles and likewise the 2 forest depots ALL EIGHT forest tiles, i.e. basically you need to a giant single "area" per depot terrain type on a map for this purpose so in this example you would have a single giant plain and single giant forest.
