You have to set the TEST MODE OFF and restart. Then you can play
There is no file for the EAC. Simply install the progran and then click in Test Mode OFF and restart
everything should be fine
Get the SDK for your version of Windows, and Google the instructions for how to sign drivers.
I'm on Windows 7, so for me, this is how to do it: http://woshub.com/how-to-sign-an-unsigned-driver-for-windows-7-x64/
You can use sigverif.exe, which is included with Windows, to find out which drivers need to be "signed".
Once you've gotten them signed using the instructions, you can take your PC out of test mode, and the divers will still work, which means you won't get that DSE error from EAC and you get to have those drivers.
WIN WIN!
(Obviously, this method would also allow hackers to do their thing, which makes requiring DSE to be on utterly pointless, but whatever.)
Here's how you fix it: Go to Program files/steam/steamapps/common/rust and find EasyAntiCheat.Client.dll right click it and press properties. In the new window go to tab Digital Signatures select the signature from list and press Details. On this new windows press View Certificate a new windows will open yet again, choose Install Certificate" choose Current User and press Next. Leave it on Automatically select the certificate store based on the type of certificate and press Next. Press Finish. START GAME FROM STEAMAPPS -> RUST -> RustClient.exe
ive tryed your way but when i went to start it as you say i cant find RustClient.exe
any ideas?
I tried your way and the game started using the RustClient.exe but every time I enter a server it starts loading then it disconnects and says: Disconnected: EAC unconnected.
Anyone who can help solve this? I contacted the Developers and they don't seem to know what to do either.
