Why does this game run so bad?

I mean i played rust a little back when it wasnt on the new overhaul. It ran pretty well on my crappy old pc. Now... This game doesnt run well at all... what happent? I built a new pc a year or so ago with I7-4790k and an gtx-780 ti phantom and this runs like ♥♥♥♥... utter ♥♥♥♥. I mean i get 60 frames in DayZ... Thats DAYZ for gods sake and in this i cant get more than 14 and get assaulted by flying boxes that spew fire and brimstone!

and btw... why are the women so ugly?

And still in alpha after 2 and a half years... get your ♥♥♥♥ together ffs. Dayz getting updates to increase performance and building a new engine. This game getting updates to decrease the performance and breaking an existing engine... *sigh*

PS. no flame, can someone tell me how to run decent frames on high-performance pc in this game?

I use a lower graphics default. I find that using the very best settings they recommend are pure ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Toy with your shaders and grass. Although I can run the game on the highest settings I still get a pretty low frame drop in gun fights. Now i have over 120fps and i drop to 80fps when in gun fights. It changes the fight.

I get on average 80 fps with everything on max yet i get ♥♥♥♥ fps on dayz

You know there are settings you can change in each individual game you play... right?

If your game screen resolution is not native to what your card puts out scaled up or down your game will run like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for that reason alone. There are dozens more settings like this.

Before you build your next computer learn how to configure it first.

I spent 2500€ (tremendous 24% tax here) on my system and it runs arma 3 on full... i mean theres nothing wrong with my system as i keep clocking better results on my gpu than the 980 ti does. Anyways... neither is this 10 years old (would have cost way more for these parts back then, hell some company might have bought the parts to reverse engineer them, since they have future technology) nor is it really bad. The system is great, and theres something wrong with the game. Im running native 1080x1920 on a philips "gaming briliance" something ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and every single other game runs well, even arc.

Game is prolly running off your iGPU it's a known problem. Check in the console to see if your 780ti is running the game.
