Just so you understand what you're getting: This isn't a remaster or a port to a new engine. This is a rerelease of the original game with a patch. The patch fixes some bugs and adds some QOL along with (poorly) upscaled textures. Most importantly, the online co-op is back (through EGS) though as far as can be determined, it is not crossplay between platforms. It is still fundamentally the same game on the same engine with most of the same (minor) jank. It includes all of the original deluxe edition/pre-order DLC stuff in the rerelease.

As for new stuff, there's a camera lock-on for ranged attacks and abilities (melee still handles the same even if locked on.) The UI is updated to show full ally stats as well as giving consumables their own panel. There's a proper Borderless mode. You can hotswap between characters when solo so you can actually equip and upgrade them in the middle of a level. The visuals are very slightly cleaned up.

That's it, really. The game itself is still a solid 7/10 and worth playing if you're in the mood for a Snowblind action RPG that isn't quite as good as Return to Arms. For existing owners, you'll have to use your best judgment on whether it's worth another 20USD.
