Did you bother to read the thread before posting this, as we've been over this MANY times?
Its been on PC for a REALLY long time.
I know right? store page says 1999 lol...
Shadow Man's current owners could either be Valiant Entertainment (company that spun-off from Acclaim and has had recent Shadow Man memorabilia) or Throwback Entertainment (a Canadian company who bought up all of Acclaim's IPs) or a mixture of both. To see Night Dive Studios go out of their way to make these games widely available is a godsend.
Sure it may look like absolute crap now, but how does that stop it from being awsome? Its still worth playing today. What 3d adventure games do we have nowadays that are actually challenging? lengthy? crafted with time and passion? Not many...Shadowman is a difficult and complex 3d adventure game that doesnt hold your hand at all and requires some serious observational skills and a prestine gaming sense that barely any games made today require. They dont make games with this type of challenge anymore. Glad to see these old games are still being sold and appreciated.
yeah I'd like to find that one, it was on PS2. I remember him holding a sword on the cover of it and wondering what the gameplay would be like compared to the original. I hadn't picked it up since I was heavily into EQOA for a few years and didn't take too many breaks for other games. Except for RE4 , Area 51, and Gladius that I recall. Besides a little GTA on the side
This game had some of my favorite environments for a game of it's time. to this day still, to some degree this one and EQOA have some of my favorite environments in a game I've played. It was fun going through this game, and looking for those Loa things to. I think eventually I managed to get all of them. iirc there were about a couple hundred Loa souls or whatever they were.I think they had something to do with fighting the endgame boss too, but it's been so long I'm not sure about that now. it made hidden packages in vice city look like nothing lol.
