the game isn't even out but already looking at the gameplay, i'm just numb to it. i'm all for being creative and trying out new things but seriously??? it's the same game with a few different gameplay features, but essentially, it's the same game!

I was honestly expecting it to be like an overhead shooter like Yet another zombie defense, or The last stand aftermath. You can still go around and scavenge for loot, build up your base and defend yourself every night during the blood moon. And it would fit if there was up to 4 players. I genuinely though they were going that route...but oof. i didn't expect to be disappointed.

There's no new zombie skins, no new graphics, no new sounds or music. it's still on Unity, and it's barely different from the main 7 days to die game. This is what the devs have been working on instead of fixing bugs or adding better features to the main game apparently.

i don't think i'm interested in it anymore, i can get plenty of more features and zombie skins with mods for free, but i don't need to shell out more money for a game that is just a blatant copy off the main game.

You realized, that a specific game is not to your taste, and concluded, that not buying might be an adequate reaction to that thought.

Now there is something even more wild:
All those folk who flocked into the forum in the past years, asking for asymmetrical PvP with a tad bit battle royal might get what they asked for, without their wishes interfering with our taste.

Now they don't have to buy the game targeted to us and we don't have to buy the game, that is tailored more to their likimg.

Zombie Hive Master. LOL. TFP are going for a bit of the old Left 4 Dead vibe, apparently. I notice it includes "in app purchases." I wonder if the Pimps are starting to think that the 7DTD Early Access gig is nearly up and are looking for a new source of income? Anyway, it would be nice to see some of those new POI's show up in the original game.
