Its the point that they even are allowed to spawn inside the basec since bloodmoons ignore claimbocks (i increased the standard safezone to match my base size), and only the player counts. (and since its hardcoded its not changeable so far i know)
This just kills the mood for me.
You can try the old tip to place/change all the ground around in/out your base with another block & not a terrain ground block...
im aware how to mechanics work and how to usually deal with it....
but i want to keep the backyard as is and a (fake) player placed in the middle of my base would cover the 30 blocks each side where they cant spawn during bloodmoon.
this isnt about a discussion for usual methods
i asked if there is a fake player mod not more not less (the rest was just to explain why someone maybe needs it), but apparently there is non since i cant find anything about it.
to further expand my example, what if someone decides to take over a school building/prison, like walking dead roleplay or something.
so many good pois that arent used by players because you cant "realisticly" defend them with the current system....
But i know the problem, Claimblock and bedroll didn´t prevent the bloodmoon and screamer horde spawns out of your personal spawn safe range.
The only option i know for this is that no zombie can spawn on a player build block. So if you cover all your base with self building blocks, or at least upgraded prebuilds than your base is spawn save. For hordes you have to cover the top block layer. But i never testet if it also work with self build dirt blocks (if you want to hold your backyard "natural").
For you initial question it's no & mostly useless because in fact you want a bot... But a turret is & will be better than a bot player...
With my initial answer, it's because you complain about zombies who spawn inside your base...
But seem like more in fact you don't know/understand well the mechanic of zombie from the BM... You need to build a free path for their way... If you build a close wall all around you (& mostly with same HP block), well it's useless because they will destroy all & other coming zombies will continu to use the hole that previous zombies did...
If not, like most of advanced players, just build a base anti-horde outside far from your base... It's free & easy to do, so why skip this way ? & so lost time to repair base ? & got better chance to lose all thing at your base ? Why search a complication if there's an easy way to def during the BM ? ? ? I don't understand you...
because i dont want a horde base, i want to survive at "my proper home" as much as i like the game i started to hate the concept of ALWAYS "horde base" and "Home base" (which only exists because of the stupid hardcoded 30block spawn range)
like i said before, why pois that look good when you cant rly play the biggest mainpoint of the game in it?
and i know how the zombies work too, they havent changed much over the years they are stupid as always, and it would be easy to cheese them as always but thats boring
and yeah of course if you cant defend then you loose some of your stuff, thats the fun^^
i give you another word which play a big part, maybe then you get rly why i complain about zombies spawning inside the base:
IMMERSION ;D
xDDD... Again... In fact, you are just borring to go def your back & you talk about to be immersive ? ? ? LOLLL
