Rebirth Mod Berserker Class Viability

Hey guys, I recently stared a rebirth playthrough with my friends and I choose berserker class because I wanted to be some main character material. I just wanted to check, is this class good enough to play to or close to the endgame? Just want to know what I am getting myself into.

I would answer the question but I have no clue about the berserker, I'm playing the Hunter class.
