NPC Recruitment Mods name*Update* Darkness Falls has NPCS
Hi,

Awhile back, 2 or 3 years ago, there was a mod that allowed you to recruit NPCS and even had bandits. You could make the NPC defend your area and even follow you.


Does anybody know the name and does it work in the current version? TY

Yes and no.

It was the "Starvation Overhaul Mod" and had all that and more.
Sadly is not supported/updated anymore. :winter2019neutralbulb:

The mod creator is no longer here on earth, he passed on to the next transition.
At least I think thats what happened. Bandits had guns and would kill you from distance. If you punched an NPC it would follow you and still attacked zombies when it saw them. Those NPC's had guns sometimes too.

check out the fourms, the npc modders have better info. but from what i understand, and correct me if i am wrong, but they are holding back on some stuff for alpha 20 because there will be more npc framwork added then.

Thanks for the info, I actually 100% forgot about the forums, not used them in years.

Stopped using them about 4 years ago. The forums were ran with a G rating, the word ass would get you in the slammer for a 24 hour time out. Nevermind the game has a mature rating.

So I never returned to the forums, as I didnt want to accidentally speak out of turn, wasnt sure what would be allowed, but Ill have to check the site out. thanks
