Best Overhaul Mods Right Now?

My Discord and I really enjoyed Darkness Falls in the past, but it seems like it hasn't been updated for 1.0...?

What other mods does everyone like?

Darkness Falls is in experimental right now. You can download the V1.x experimental version on the DF Discord. No modlauncher support yet though.

Ravenhearst. but im biased since i help work on it:P It's for a certain player who doesnt mind extra grind to prolong the playthrough and seemingly unending waves of zombies.

Preppocalypse is updated for the latest version of the base game. It's a lighter kind of overhaul, closer to vanilla. The main difference is that there are mod-specific versions of the base zombies that are harder than the vanilla radiated versions...and they're armed. Some with ranged weapons. There are also some mod-specific POIs (some completely new, some modified vanilla POIs), a questline (minor, not a story thing), some new mods for weapons and armour, a couple of new workstations, chicken farming, beekeeping, bigger and more frequent wandering hordes. Probably a couple more things I've forgotten. It's a good "mostly vanilla" type of overhaul mod.

Joke Mod is one that's easily overlooked. It started as a joke and it's jammed full of jokes (all of them very bad and therefore good), but it's also a serious fully featured overhaul mod.

War3zUK is a different approach to the game. It's a gameworld that doesn't care about you. In vanilla and most mods, you're the de facto centre of the world and everything adjusts to you. In War3zUK, that isn't true. The gameworld is what it is and it's full on hardcore from hour 1 day 1, jammed with mobs that are way out of level if compared to the player character at the start. Because they're not compared to the player character at the start. Why would they be? The player character at the start is...who cares? Some nobody who isn't quite dead yet.

The Wasteland is 7DTD with a solid flavouring of Fallout. I haven't played the 1.x version, but I enjoyed the A20 and A21 versions.

Rebirth looks good to me, but it's only available through a platform I won't use so I haven't played it.
