Where are all the mods? I click to install mods and I only see a list of about 20 overhauls, and nothing else.

What are you looking for? Some mods have not been updated to A21 stable. Rebirth for example

Are you talking overhauls or modlets or like cars and guns and stuff.

Modlets. I always have issues getting the right folder, because I use an SSD, so they aren't default locations where I can just download and be done with it.

Not sure if this answers your question but the mods on your system are kept in
<drive>\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\Mods\
(assuming a Windows system).
If the 'Mods' folder is missing your should create one so will have:
<drive>\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\Mods\someInstalledMod
cheers

Didn’t seem to work. Not saying you’re wrong, just simply not seeing the mods. I’m investigating further…

FYI my game is installed on an SSD, so I’m not sure that’s the issue, with the game on one drive and the mods on another…

SSD has nothing to do with it. A hard drive is a hard drive. But there's your problem right there. The mods have to be installed in the same folder as the game. Otherwise the game doesn't even know you have mods installed.

I think you need to start from scratch. Delete everything, read some tutorials/videos on how this works, and then try again.

That’s what I did. Everything I see tells me to make a “Mods” folder in the game folder, then put the mods in there. Just doesn’t seem to work.

Then there is something(s) you are still doing wrong. This is not a common occurrence. If it were then I can assure you that hundreds of people would've experience the same issue by now and sphereii (the main modder) would've fixed it by now.

It is indeed something on my end, which is why I’m here. My only guess at this point is that there is a conflict between mods, not the mod placement.

How is there a conflict of mods when you asked in the OP "Where are all the mods"?

You are all over the place. This is why I suggested for you to start from scratch. Delete everything.

Clearly, you have alot to learn about folder structure and how the game works in general before you even think about modding it.

If you have had 7DTD for a while you may have 2 mod directories. A while ago 7DTD used to store the mods in the 7DTD install folder. A few releases ago they moved it to the
<drive>\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\Mods folder.

It used to be in <7DTD install folder>\data\mods.
Have a look in your install folder to see if there is a mods folder in there.

Another thing I would do, is for each drive that you have, search for files called
modinfo.xml
All mods have this file - if you do a full system search for files with that name you should find any mods on your computer.
Cheers
