This is only needed if you want to teach yourself how to make your own characters.
At any rate, it's been awhile since I messed around with modded NPC's, but if you wanted to make it so the NPC mod can use a separate gun mod then I don't think it would take much more than a simple XML edit. It would basically be adding the newly modded gun title (however it's labeled) to the gun list of the already modded NPC's. This is the simple way of doing it. But there are drawbacks to this. The way the gun looks on the NPC may look a bit funky and the only way to fix this is through editing each NPC thru unity.
Again though, it's been a long time since I've even tried something like this. I'm talking A18 lol. I'll tell you what, I'll take a look at it sometime this weekend when I get a chance and see what I can do and I'll get back to you on it.

I saw some info about the thing i was asking 4... you cna change that in the .xml file
About the NPC... as i know also it dont work on every NPC it seems, check this..

so it dont work for all of them? hmmm...might be that i had the wrong ones then lol... now i have to try them all out or something...
also the patrol code thing in the menue ...? how that is working...
Will find out, i hope there is some more info about it.. somewhere...
