I updated my PC and Linux server to A21.1. I can connect and play on the Linux box on my home lan no prob.
I loaded DF on my PC and successfully launched it and played for a while.
I assume the process to run on the Linux server is the same as with the PC...replace the Mods folder with the DF Mods folder.
Then modified the serverconfig.xml file to load the DFalls-Navezgane world.
Server would crash, not sure why. What am I missing?
INFO:
I did a yum update on the Linux box to get the latest whatnots.
Installed the mono-core packages also. Not sure they were needed, but it did not help.
I read in an article to copy the "MonoBleedingEdge" directory to the modded game directory but it was already there (and it did not say could not load mono). This directory is located here: ./7dtd_server/7DaysToDieServer_Data/MonoBleedingEdge
When I start the Linux dedicated server, I get a mono crash. Here is the relevant output from the crash log:
Platform.PlatformManager:Init()
GameManager:Awake()

One of the DF team reached out to me regarding your issue.
From Lemonpie:
Consider hosting/installing on linux through LGSM so you won't be missing any dependencies.
It also includes a server monitor which can reboot after scheduled shutdowns or unscheduled crashes
https://7dac.net/linux-server-setup-guide/
Best to just create a new user, start from scratch using that guide and you could have it up in under an hour by simply following the steps
Edit: And if you still need help come into the official discord. Lemonpie can better answer you directly there.

Edit: ah, nevermind. He just posted it.
Great, thanks for the help, I'll give this a shot and see what I see. Much appreciated.
