Help with Undead Legacy

So I decided I wanted to try out Undead Legacy, so I downloaded the mod and put all the appropriate folders in the mod folder and then launched the game... Only when the game starts up it tries to load the main menu only to constantly fail to load the main menu and menu background telling me that it hasn't finished downloading? Idk if some files are missing or what but I deleted the mods and decided to use the mod launcher instead though I didn't want to waste the drive space on a whole other copy of 7 days. After I did everything necessary for that I tried to run the game through the mod launcher and I got the exact same problem.

I have used mods in the past with and without the mod launcher so I'm reasonably confident I didn't screw it up both times at the very least lol. So yea any help would be appreciated.

I just saw that there is a section for modding, I apologize and would ask someone to move it to the appropriate section.

Since I'm not sure what you may or not have done or changed, I would suggest deleting everything and trying again from scratch. This is often the best fail-safe when your having problems installing mods. Especially complete overhauls like undead.

I would also suggest installing it manually instead of using the launcher (it can be buggy at times).

For a fresh install;

1) Uninstall the game thru steam
2) Go to \Steam\steamapps\common
3) Make sure you no longer have a 7 days to die folder. If you do, then delete it.
4) Next, go to \AppData\Roaming and delete the 7DaysToDie folder
5) Reinstall the game
6) Go here to download undead legacy mod: https://ul.subquake.com/download
7) Follow these instructions to install the mod manually.
