UI MODS?

Looking for a decent UI MOD that can possibly increase the toolbelt from 8 items to 12 or at least neaten up the UI and make it so hunger/thirst is on show.

I doubt these exist yet but are there texture packs yet? Game looks good but let's face it, it looks a few years old graphically.

Increasing the tool belt ... possible but impractical. The things you put into those extra slots gets deleted upon game exit unless you go with a SDX solution but then you cannot play with UAC on.

There are no texture packs to my knowledge.

I have the game option menu saved to keep all your backpack and belt items when you leave the game!!!!!!

UI MODS
toolbelt from 8 items to 12. The belt can be wrapped around the torso.
And hunger & thirst is also shown on a UI mod live map that you move in. [in]


How do you modify game to show the map at the bottom left of the screen with food calories needed and water needed [in and posted]

Doesn't matter, the game will only save the normal 8 slots without a .dll edit. It's the same deal for your backpack, you can give yourself 100+ slots, but the game will only save 32 without a change to the default code...which can NOT be done with SDX by the way...it requires decompiling the .dll to IL, changing the values, and recompiling the code.

As was stated in the thread, no you can't have a mini map anymore.
The map was a fixed picture and Navez has been updated.
There is ONE way to get the mini map back.
Right click 7 days to die in your library -> properties -> Beta -> choose 8.8 in the drop-down list -> let it patch.

As for calories & thirst there are a few UI mods, I prefer Red Eagle, give it a search and you'll find it without any problem.
