[Help] Possible to live reload game assets?
Hi, I am new to this and wondering if the debug console has options for reloading the config files live so one does not need to exit the game to see the effects of changes to non world generation related changes (.e.g. recipes, windows, spawning, groups) I am pretty sure there would be but in case you guys tell me before I figure something out, that is why this thread was made.

As far as i know you need to restart the game for XML changes. And as far as i can judge there should be no alternative.

Update, it appears live edits too the rwgmixer.xml for biome placement do take effective as seen when refreshing the map previewer the placement of city's and prefers appear to also take effect live in the previewer. However don't expect to see any changes to biome Heights or 3D related generation unless you test in game.

Yes, the rwgmixer.xml can be changed on the fly for the RWG Previewer. Previewer has its own set of bugs too.

Did you know you can grab the map image and rotate it so you can see heights in the previewer?

Is this only in your HUD or does it always work like this I am using your HUD as part of Valmod but he has yet to update the to your latest, I was thinking of merging the previwer tweak in myself because its much needed :D great work btw.

The right-click is default functionality from Stock, so works with any HUD including unmodified. I just didn't feel like restoring stock files before making the screenshot.

Oh sweet I did not know this existed at all :D.. I think I will still merge your latest tweaks into Valmod Overhaul as I have heavily modified his latest release and I have no idea when he will update the HUD, I use NetBeans like any sane person would be for this game because it requires ton of XML merging which is painless using the "diff to" tool. Almost github commit style view with quick merging on click. Thanks for the help will hit you up if I run into anything strange.
