7DTD mod launcher ; how to run an overhaul and a mod at the same time ?
Hello,

I'm using the 7DTD mod launcher to play overhaul mods (I have currently Darkness falls and Undead legacy installed). I also have downloaded the compo pack 48.

My question is this : how can I run either DF or UL with the compo pack included ? For the record, i've followed this video to install the compo pack : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWjyWdCMvoM

But when i launch a new game in UL, there is no CP POI to be found, even if the mod is showing up in "my mods" in the mod launcher ...

Some help would be nice, and some simple words too (i'm not good at all when modding is concerned ...)

Thanks in advance.

The mod launcher creates a new 7d2d directory for the overhaul mod (if done right.) So, there would be a copy of the steam install then modded for UL. You'd place that compo pak into the modded 7d2d folder set.....not the one steam installs in it's directory. Then you need to run the map generator from the modded 7d2d directory. The problem then becomes, will it generate all the POI's you want? Not always cuz it's random. So, you'd create a map, then use a map previewer--theres a few good ones on the web--to see if you get the POI's you want. If not, generate a new map using different name and / or details. Kind of an experimentation process.
Do not try this with Darkness Falls. The mod launcher and DF do not play well together and the DF Dev will not help if you encounter loading/game bugs because it's most likely caused by the launcher. Manual install is highly advised. Khaine has a current how to manual on his youtube channel.
