I'm not very experienced with the 7DtD Mod Launcher, but I don't think it actually installs itself, it's just a folder and executable program that does stuff (makes a copy of vanilla 7DtD and applies mods to one of the copies). To uninstall, you'd just delete the Mod Launcher's folder (default is C:\7D2DModLauncher-Windows-Installer\ while the modded-7DtD-copies are in C:\7D2D\ ).
The thing is I thought I uninstalled it at one time but still opens. In my steam library I have both "7 Days to Die" and "7D2DLauncher". The launcher opens the mod launcher V 1.0.5.2
I'm wondering if the uninstall didn't get rid of all of it for some reason. If I go to C:\Users\zebla\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\MMGMA17Q.7R8\PQY8BA3Y.473 it has two folders that start with 7d2d and both have things for the mod launcher. I have 7 Days to Die installed on a different drive
If any thing happens I'll update. At this time I'm going to guess that either the uninstall didn't work all the way or I messed up on the install.
C:\MyModGames\Utilities\modlauncher.exe--or whatever it's named.
Then there'd also be;
C:\MyModGames\7d2d
Then I'd be modding that copy of the game and not the original steam installation. Of course you need to create your own desktop shortcuts to these apps yourself. Delete the one's steam may have created initially if you chose to have it create the shortcuts for you.
Doing this means it's easy to find whatever mods you may have installed and if you just totally mess up a modded game, you can delete it, re-copy the app's folder from the steam install and start modding over again.
