How do i install Darkness Falls mod?

hello to everyone, i want to know, how i install darkness falls mod? i already download the "mod launcher" the default route is C:/7D2D/Alpha20/Darkness_falls/darkness_falls/, i touch the "play" button in the mod launcher, it opens perfectly but i create a random seed in the original game, wich give me the "gidayaja or whatever is called world" and when its loading, the console opens and " wild red font letters appear" saying "Null Reference Exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" how do i fix this? how can i play this mod?

made ALL the steps one by one in the slowest way possible, still nothing changes, i have the Null Reference Exception: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" in the loading screen when i loading a use a provided map, doesnt care what i use, everyone gives me an error, i dont have another mods, i dont have another saved files, its 100% original file CLEAN

What exactly does your mods folder look like? Maybe the directories aren't nested properly?

There was nothing complicated for me when I installed. I just popped the mod into the mods folder and went on my way.

Directories look fine. Are you loading the game with or without EAC? I searched for your error message on the topic for Darkness Falls on the official forum and multiple mentioned getting stuck with that error message but posted that it went away after they started playing with EAC off.

I was having the same problem as OP and this fixed it for me. I had forgotten that the mod author mentioned it in his youtube video. Thanks for the reminder

I had the same problem with the endless Null reference errors. What worked for me was following the "How to fully refresh the client" post at https://steamcommunity.com/app/251570/discussions/1/3110269850346164483/#c3110269850345972067 including deleting the registry key for 7dtd. After that I did the manual install and DF starts up correctly.

well i fixed it, how i fixed it? i open the 7d2d launcher, select option "show launcher" go to tools options and clear all the data and re install from scratch, that did the trick, now im enjoying darkness falls, thanks anyone for your response, have a nice day/night/weekend
