How do I know that Demons and other creatures about to spawn in Darkness Falls?
Hi, do the Demons and Behemoths announce themselves before they spawn with sounds etc or do they spawn like the zombies randomly so you never know if one of them could stand behind the next corner waiting for you?

What block damages they actually do?

You'll only see them in certain areas... Wasteland POIs, screamer hordes at higher gamestages, horde night, etc. There is no announcement though they have particular sounds associated with them like the zombies do. Their block damage is controlled by your difficulty and your settings and even on lowest settings, these things hit VERY hard, do lots of damage fast, and will take you down if you're not paying attention. Fire damage will sneak up on you, so always have a stack of water on your hot bar when in those areas or expecting to run into them. Sorry, but exact numbers are not something I have been inclined to search up in the xml.

Normal demons... in other words, zombies who have been demonized, give off a red, smoky glow, much like radiated zombies give off the greenish glow, and you'll hear the slight crackling sound of fire. Behemoths don't do that... they are just death with very large fists and, I would imagine, terrible breath. The special demons, Incubus and Succubus and demonic behemoths, have LOTS of HPs, and move in special ways. A succubus can phase through solid blocks, but is hindered by other things, like partial blocks and such. It's hard to define and I may be wrong about that, but it's what I've observed. The Incubus appears to be her slave, and sometimes it feels as though they are directed by her. I know that's probably just my imagination, but things move very quickly when they're about, so it's hard to say. The demonic behemoth is just ... well, it's the only thing I fear once I have full power armor and laser weapons.

Your gamestage and difficulty are what will control much of this. Just be aware of your surroundings, have liquids on your hotbar, and never, ever go anywhere without a laser weapon to negate their regen. Normal, bitty demons, like demonized zombies, aren't that bad, though they spit fire and can hurt you if you're not able to move and dance out of their path. The others, though... yeah, be aware.

Is the Demon Lady with the Wings and Horns the strongest Zed?

Not really. She's the hardest to target/kill but not the most HP. I think the demonic behemoth has the most HP. She and the Incubus are less than him.

Edit: I did neglect to add that, once you reach a certain gamestage, and you've completed certain parts of the story line, you will start finding demonized zombies and some behemoths and such in your mission POIs. Remember to listen for them, and keep on top of every situation. Take advantage of being able to hear them. Break through a wall if you have to and head shot them when you can while they're still asleep. It won't be as bad as you're imagining once you get an idea of what to watch and listen for. You've got this!

How do i actually grow food (Farming)?
I saw that it’s completely different from the vanilla game
I don‘t quite understand the water mechanics.

There are some good YouTube videos of the farming mechanic. Just be sure they are based on alpha 20 since even that has changed since alpha 19. Water is essential for plants to grow and you can either use a farm plot or a hoe to prepare dirt for plants to grow in. Note that mushroom spores must actually be planted rather than placed on walls and such the way you do in vanilla. Also, you don't LOSE the plants in DF when you harvest. Just punch them and the plant remains. If using the hoe, you will be utilizing rows.... so hoe one row, leave a row, hoe a row.... it takes up more room but will work until you have the farming class done. I like to use rain barrels placed two blocks deep into the center of a 5 x 5 square. That means, that one barrel will keep 2 outer rows of 5 plus the row in the center... 2 plants- barrel- 2 plants growing. Hard to describe in words, sorry...

The farming class will allow you to make irrigation systems which work very well. Again, it's hard to explain in words this way, but videos will help.
