What’s the easiest way to farm feathers for Arrows ?

Vultures and chickens give lots and meat also from chickens. Early game loot nests, and destroy them for one or a few more if you don`t plan on re looting them.

Oh sorry, didn`t notice DF mod. I haven`t been able to figure out how to get it downloaded yet to play it. I`m old and dumbass. Think I have the launcher downloaded, then it gets sticky for me hehehe.

Same thing, really.

DF or vanilla, just go to the desert for a day and ride around on a vehicle and they'll come to you (annoyingly so if you're just passing through). After this you should be good for a few weeks, lol.

Also, get Hunter class and just complete the class quest chain. You won't need to put points into the harvest perk, 2 is enough.

chicken coops and animal snares are great for feathers, meat, and eggs. i have 4 of each and have stopped looting nests now. no more need.

Also, if you're playing with No Loot Respawn, use your axe on every nest you've already looted. You'll get a few more feathers and some lovely fiber. You'll need all that fiber later on when you get ready to make higher armor, anyway.
