A20 Hud Mod - Installation Help?

Hello,

I've tried installing a couple different HUD mods but they don't seem to work for me. I tried client side on my single player map but I can't load in when I install the HUD mod it gets stuck on 'Loading UI' I tried disabling EAC but that didn't work so I made a dedicated server and installed it server side and again same problem so I installed both client and server side and again didn't work.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? Any help would be fantastic!

TDLR; I really want a HUD that shows me my water and food etc but my game won't load once installed. Any help?

What mod are you trying to use?
If it is SMX you will also need SMXlib
PS You can see food/water without mods - two small lines below toolbelt.

Well I tried 'A20 - AGF - HUD PLUS' which didn't work so I tried 'Scomar82_HUD A20' which again didn't work

How would you install step by step? Just to make sure I did do it the correct way

download it and unpack to mods folder - that's it

Oh okay I was doing it all wrong then putting it in the config folder aha

Edit - It still doesn't work? https://i.imgur.com/Z30mkwj.png I've unpacked it the way you said. The game does load me in now however, the HUD is the same as vanilla

Can you check two things? In the mods Config folder do you have an XUi folder, and inside that a windows.xml file? Second, start the game and when it's loaded press F1 for the console. Scroll up to the top and see if there are any messages about loading the mod, and scan through the rest to see if there are errors.
