darkness falls difficulty

just curious what people are playing this on. im playing on warrior, 64x blood moon, default zombie max and animal spawn with nightmare speed for all and i am getting my ass handed to me. i feel like nightmare speed might be too much for me on this mod, just curious what other people are playing at.

After first install and playthrough, Darkness Falls kicked my balls into my throat :)

Slow down zombies. It's better to play with dumbed down zombies in DF, than to play vanilla.

ya i normally play vanilla on max difficulty settings, and i find that to be pretty easy usually, so i figured warrior, nightmare speed and 64x wouldnt be bad, but demons and mutated zombies just obliterate me when they run 3.9 40's, lol.

me and 2 friends are playing it on Jog daytime. sprint nighttime, ferals are nightmare and bloodmoon is nightmare. It's still hard but it's not obnoxiously hard.

Darkness Falls is worth slowing things down, enjoying the ride, learning the story and the game. Vanilla is different and playing the way you normally do is just not the way DF should be done, especially if you're solo. Slow down and enjoy the difference. It will ramp itself up before you know it, and even on default, that ramp up will be very, very serious. Fun... scary and crazy, and worth the journey.
