How to run Darkness Falls mod on 7 Days To Die Nitrado

I hope this helps some people. I had a hard time finding a straight answer from anybody on how exactly to get my Nitrado server to run Darkness Falls. It was actually fairly simple so here goes.

1. Make sure you have 7D2D Mod Launcher installed. On the mod launcher you will choose Darkness Falls. The mod will download. After download is done, you will click "Pre-Sync". After everything is done there, click "Play Mod". Congratulations, you have successfully finished the client side download.

2. Go to the website for Darkness Falls, there you will download the "Server Master". Do not bother with the "Client Master" as you already have this part done in Step 1. Create a folder on your desktop called "7D2D Master" (You can save this anywhere but I personally use desktop because it's easy to find). Unzip the "Server Master" file into the folder you just created.

3. Download FileZilla which is a free FTP designed to let you remotely mess with the files in your server. Connect to your server on FileZilla using the info provided on your Nitrado server dashboard. Once you are connected, upload all of the "7 Days To Die Server Master" directly into the server files. There is no need to throw these into a folder or anything on the server side. Many things will need to "Overwrite", accept all of these requests to overwrite.

4. Restart your server on Nitrado. When I did this, everything on my server reverted back to default settings including the name of my server and password. Go to your basic settings in Nitrado and change the map to one of the "Pregens". I'm not sure if you need to do this part, but I assume since it is a mod, Navezgane is not a viable option. Once you have your server tweaked to the way you want it, restart your server again.

5. Launch the Darkness Falls mod using the 7D2D launcher. The game will load up and you will have that custom Darkness Falls menu screen. Click "Join Game", find your server, and connect. The game will download the map during the loading screen and you are set.

**Please feel free to ask questions about anything in this guide. I am no professional with computers but I did spend about a week trying to figure this out with friends who are also not very good with computers (lol)**

Choose another site other than Nitrado. Nitrado is notorious for not running games right.
