Darkness falls

I am having issues. I tried the launcher and it was a waste of time because when I did it and pressed play next to the mods name the regular 7D2die game loaded up. So anyone who has downloaded darkness falls and knows how to install it please help me?

Sync mod files to force it to actually install the mod. Its a 5gb mod so it will take awhile depending on your internet speed. Also always manually sync before you play to get the latest updates if there are any.

No, but if you are using 7d2d mod launcher it will download everything you need for both multi and singleplayer.

hm. well I made the new folder to put it all into, has the base game put there by launcher and the darkness falls folder, but when I try to launch from mod launcher it is regular 7d2Die. really agrivating, I have watched two separate, although out dated videos, and I am currently replacing the whole thing on a second attempt

If you don't have an 11.9 gb folder inside of your copied 7 days to die named "Data" then it didn't do what its supposed to do. Like the path to mine is alpha 19> Darkness falls> Darkness falls> Data. There will also be a 7 days to die data in there, but we don't care about it. The one named data is where all the mods assets should have been downloaded to from the github server.

yeah seems small. Mine is 11.9 with the folders bundles being 6.43gb and worlds being 4.57gb of that. So almost the entire space in the folder is taken up by those two subfolders.

Launchers been nerfed for the last 7 or 8 days! Any mod it downloads starts the window where you can clean files and just stops at the sliding bar the quits all together. Any thing with a mod does it. the seed file from fun pimps that has no mods works!!!

Works fine for me. Just tested it.

dunno. I reinstalled the game and the launcher. set my game to 19.3. resynched it. always the same screen and last time just froze on loading screen.
I have a tons of mods for different games, I use vortex on my Skyrim. so I really don't know what the issue is.
I do appreciate all your help Ming, but it is just taking to much time. I may try again later once I find a better set of directions than the old one YOUtube has

try doing a manual installation of the mod and forget the launcher.
it's quite easy to do if you watch some Youtube vids.
my friend was trying for days to use the launcher, just wouldn't work at all.
we did a manual install together and got straight onto the modded game.

Thanks again to all who tried to help me..
