good mods? servers with mods?

What are some good mods/overhauls to this game? I cant seem to figure out how to join modded servers either, how do i know where to download/install. They should let the mods auto-download and be toggled on and off.

You can download mods with the 7dtd mod launcher tool.

You can also get them from nexus mods and other places I am sure. But those are the two i know of.

Workshop support will come either late beta or post release, after which it will be much easier.

Most servers you join that are Modded would require you to have the same files.. Most have that info in their Name.. As stated the Mod launcher covers 99.9% of all that & is very simple to use plus makes a 1:1 copy of your game so nothing is messed with.. Then its just a case of finding said server, Checking the info & making sure you have that version of the mod or overhaul..

An Example would be My overhaul, War3zuk, Which is on the Mod Launcher... Both my Public servers run off the Launcher files so when thats installed its easy to just join... Others are pretty much the same unless its a private collection of Modlets, Then its much harder & youd need Discord info or someone to tell you what you need..

Both servers are being Updated Now as I type this so will be online in 20 mins or so if you wish to Test a Mod install, Then just choose one you like & search in game :) BOTH servers are EU/UK

Any server that has a mod that adds icons/sounds/resources/dll files/etc would require the client to have a copy, but any server that runs mods that only change the xml files do not require the client to have the mods. If a server is going to run an overhaul you will likely have to have the files on your side too.
