Any mod out there to overhaul the leveling system?

After 660 hours and dozens of servers i kinda want to return to the old skyrim "learn by doing" style of leveling back from A16. So is there any mod out there for A19 that overhauls the leveling system back to this older style?

I mainly want this cause with the new system i find myself running out of useful stuff to level after 9 or 10 hours on a server. i remember i put 180 days (AKA 180 hours) into an old A16 server and still had skills i was trying to get up to 100. the long term goals was nice and really extended the life of my runs since i wasnt running out of stuff to level.

I don't know if this mod still works with A19 but in case you're interested you could contact the mod author and see if he can update it maybe.

Thank you, although what do you mean by "not right now, very soon"? does that mean the action skill feature is planned for the mod but not implemented yet?

That looks perfect! But yeah youre right, it was last edited on december 2018 so its gonna be for A18 :( ill shoot him a message but we'll have to see, guy hasnt been active for almost 2 years

But also thanks for letting me know the term is "action skill". ive been searching for "a16 leveling" or "learn by doing" and i havent been able to find ****.

Darkness falls is fun. But be aware its a full overhaul mod. And its not pure learn by doing. Combat skills are learn by doing. Everything else is perks. And the have everything from fire/frozen nurses, to succubus that shoot fireballs at you, and everything in between you might think of.

Um, yeah start darkness falls on adventurer or you won't make it through your first horde night. Its nonstop all night long, unlike the waves that happen in vanilla.

Quality of this overhaul is just amazing. And weight system + superb UI... it's really hard to go back to low-quality vanilla :)

I'm not touching undead legacy again till they fix the hammer problem. Basically you need 3 hammers to progress once you get to the point of workbenches. And that annoyed the crap outta me. Its one of those oversights where you need it for the research for hammers, you need it for the research for the work bench, and then you need one to make said workbench where you can finally make your own hammers. Bit of missing logic in that whole setup if you ask me.

I tried installing darkness falls. All I got was DARKNESS screen and a cursor. Not too familiar with mods. Looking for some cool changes and leveling system like A16 as well. I'm a huge fan of leveling mod for minecraft.

Just use this. It makes using mods effortless, even allows you to create multiple installs of the game to keep multiple overhaul mods at once if wanted. I keep a vanilla install and a darkness falls install currently.
