[MOD] Topless Female Player

for this, get the archetypes.xml in the .RAR and extract it to <steam library>\7 Days To Die\Data\Config and override the existing one. I removed the female backpack too cos it looked a bit silly. If you want it back, suck it up and open the file and copy the backpack from the male avatar back to the female, ezpeezy.

for those who wanna do it themselves, open up archetypes.xml in notepad (or better notepad++, free program) and look for this section

below this is the cosmetic deckout for the freshly spawned player.
<base_mesh_parts> is where the stuff you're wearing when ''naked'' or unequipped. there is a backpack at the bottom of this bracket if you want to give/keep your sassy topless pixelwomens with a backpack, cos as above mentioned, in the .rar above i removed it cos it detracted from the cartoon funbags.

below, at <archetype name="BaseFemale" male="false"

there is in the <base_mesh_parts> two lines with the following;

<part slot="chest" layer="base" mesh="female_base_chest">
<texture name="female_torso" color="skin"/>
</part>
<part slot="legs" layer="base" mesh="female_base_legs">
<texture name="female_legs" color="skin"/>
</part>

change it to

<part slot="chest" layer="base" mesh="female_base_chest">
<texture name="female_torso_nude" color="skin"/>
</part>
<part slot="legs" layer="base" mesh="female_base_legs">
<texture name="female_legs_nude" color="skin"/>
</part>

notice how i just added _nude to the texture name section? that wasn't cosmic guesswork. that's just cos i remember that was the texture of the strippers in alpha15. go nuts! time for some topless chainsaw massacres probably.

Not going to go too far into this, but yeah... I'd like nudity in the game.

I'll be the first to admit I just want nudity for nudity sake. Cartoon or not. Hentai is a cartoon as has plenty of people interested in it. Some people just like it. So what's the harm in it?

Why force opinions and preference on others? Optional features are just that. Optional. Nobody is going to make you observe nudity if you don't want to. But if the whole basis of not wanting it is, "cartoon nudity lol that isn't interesting to me" then just deal with it if it is a thing. Don't deny or berate it because you aren't interested in it.

Honestly, I quite like the idea of having nudity in this game as well as any kind of sexual content in games if it fits the theme and vibe. It just seems so silly to see people argue over this kind of subject when I can boot up POSTAL 2 and literally burn people to near-death and listen to them beg me to kill them as I piss on them... But the second somebody wants to be topless, it's hit some unspoken taboo? It's beyond me I guess. Either I'm too stupid to understand it, or just open minded.

Well :) lets say... i mean
for example if u look community hub of the game like Mortal Kombat X u see how there are less hate thread and comments about the game violance then if u look at other game community hub like ''Haydee' or ' house party'' u see theres more hate threads and comments about nudity or sex.
This could same goes for youtube videos and see how the comments difference are like

but yeh, i mean, i posted this ''mod'' as more of a tutorial, because this kind of simple editing could do alot more than just take the developer stripper torso texture and add it to the female avatar.
you could give players crazy glowing eyes or something interesting.

this post was more to demonstrate that, look, go in and change even a handful of relevant variables, and you can make some pretty cool changes to your server or singleplayer game :/

exactly. the other point of me making this mod was as a simple tutorial on text editing ;p how ONE line change enabled a texture change, in this case, using a texture ALREADY ingame (on the stripper) to the player PC.. geepus ;p
