Darkness Falls Laser workbench and key-cards

Hello, a friend and I having been having a blast playing the Darkness Falls mod on 7DtD but can't seem to figure out where to use the key-cards or where to find the LWB anywhere. If anyone knows where to find the LWB or what to use the key-cards on please let us know!

hopefully you are using the DF navezgane map or DF-small / medium otherwise RWG may screw you / normal navezgane has screwed you. however the LWB is found in the research lab which can be found in a wasteland. key cards are used in the research base to unlock doors

location coords can be found in prefabs.xml and search research, if you cannot be bothered to look for it

Thank you for the information we did, after a lot of searching, find that prefab in the picture on a 10k RWG. Though there was an issue where the enemies infinitely spawned out of the portal so I had to debug in there and destroy it as we had killed hundreds with no progress.

On a side note would you know how to disable the fire effects created by the demons as even horde nights are now almost unplayable. We're getting 1-3 fps because of how many fire effects are on at a time and how it doesn't go away for awhile after killing them.

oh the flare thing the bombers do? pretty sure atm there is no way to turn it off but it is disabled on the experimental version ( i guess for testing purposes)

is any sign to find it on map? because a spend almost 3 game weeks to reveal map (revealed nearly 30-40%) and couldn't find it (playing on DF large)

DF medium has 4 maps: 958 E, 1719 N & 1612 W, 4366 S; 2928 W, 2276 S & 2742 E, 3397 N; 2339 W, 2699 N & 1813 E, 3085 S; 2297 W, 4452 N & 1589 E, 3316 S
DF small has 4 also: 3748 W, 2317 N & 3343 E, 2409 S; 3584 E, 3544 N & 3515 E, 3540 S; 784 E, 824 N & 328 E, 984 S; 1000 W, 1008 S & 1064 W, 160 N.
Navezgane has 2: 1571 W, 1909 S & 1848 W and 1909 S.

went to all those locations for DF medium and no dice =(

so i make another game of the same map (DF medium2) and used debug mode... found it at 3096 E & 3091 N

This is not a bug in DF. You need to kill the mobs and then run in to the portal and then blow it up with explosives otherwise the mobs will keep spawning in. It is intended to be very hard to do.

What should happen when you destroy the portal tho? When I did, nothing happened. Was that it?

Also, that was back in A18, in A19, does DF follow the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ item progression of A19? (Stone tools and blunderbusss every crate in early game)

Once you destroy the portal then the demons should stop spawning and then you can loot. The portal is sorta like the portal to hell in which all the demons are streaming out of. Once you seal it by destroying it then no more demons can enter our world (until it resets).

I think item progression has been changed to follow game stage so early on you find low end items and as your game stage gets larger then you start finding higher quality items.
