Spiders are the new dogs ;P
What this mod needs is concise tutorials. The ones that are out there are fine, but getting some of these mechanics to work in a play through can be a little baffling. Even with creative on, I've spent hours over the last two days trying to figure this stuff out.
Take the large Gas tank for instance, it is particularly fiddly to place, while still having access to the connection block beneath it (for pipe connection) to do so, I had to encase it in wooden frames after I placed it, so that I could break the block under it that connects to the gas pipes (the tank will glow faintly green on the connection point underneath as you are placing it) which incidentally, is the same block that actively supports the whole model. Without the frames, the tank repeatedly fell into the ground and smashed. And, to use the Moonshine Still, this tank and the pipework have to be placed first or it will not place.
Peace out.
I've watched some of your videos; you guys have great chemistry. My wife and I get great laughs from some of the antics you guys get up to. Kage almost walking on top of that Crocodile was pricless lol.
Allready was thinking about starting one on my own, but to work on the mod and at the same time making a huge wiki is unfortanly not possible for me......
So if anybody want to start one, let me know and I would surely help a bit doing it.
I want to try this mod, but I don't want to erase the other mod that I am currently playing.
So basically I'm looking for a way to have different games available with different mods.
Download the starvation Launcher, run it, and in the top line in the Browse box, point it to this new directory. Install the mod by pressing sync and run it from the launcher.
This should give you the default game, available by launching through Steam as well. Hope this helps.
I have a link to step by step instructions for setting up your STarvation mod in a copy of 7DTD - which i how you should do it. There is also a link to a video that follow the instructions and show you how to do it. You will still be able to run 7DTD from your normal steam library link and then run the staravtion mod from the launcher https://www.killservers.com/?ccce=knowledgebase&action=displayarticle&id=66&page_id=2996
Thank you very much! Worked like a charm.
I followed the video tutorial and everything is running well, but I couldn't complete the whole tutorial.
Where it tells you to copy and paste the launch options from the Starvation icon on the desktop over to the Steam launch options my icon does not show the launch options under its properties (from the shortcut on my desktop).
The game is running very fluidly on my bootcamped Windows 10 MacBook Pro even though I don't believe I am actually using the full power of the laptop.
