1- If zeds take harm from falling will enter in rage mode, so mind to build something to not let them take any damage when they fall, like build an small semi-vertical ramp under where they fall.
2- Never, but never, make your horde base closed, if they cant have a way to reach you, they will start to destroy all your base until a path is cleared.
This, plus have a path for the rascals to follow back.
Ok see some people are saying 11 some 13, and I know things have changed over the years so some of it may be old information that doesnt apply anymore. Any idea on a maximum fall without the zeds taking any fall damage? Like can I have them fall 4 or 5 blocks and they dont take fall damage so they should never enter rage? Then I can path them through traps without them attacking anything.
Edit, Cautious pancake (sp) I believe.
Ok Thanks. Ive tried two fighting platforms, one was 5 blocks off the ground and almost never takes damage, but the second I made was 9 or 10 high and the zeds beat the crap out of the base almost collapsing the whole thing on night 14. If I hadnt made it out of cobblestone, it would all be destroyed.
