Does in-game microphone chat make sound and attract zombies?

I'm going to be playing this game with my buddies Thursday night for the first time in a while. We wanted to know if there is in-game chat that takes advantage of your mic that allows for either open-mic or push-to-talk like in DayZ. As well, does your voice attract zombies? If so, does the loudness of your voice matter?

The game does have voice chat, but it isn't "immersive in-game sound chat", at least not yet. I'm not sure what their long term plans for this are, as they can change direction at the drop of a hat and add stuff in they never mentioned before (like the new storage crates).
