is it possible to reset a day?
is there any way to go back in time for a day in single player mode? like for example resetting the game from day 107 to day 106 and everything is just like it was on that day?
reason is simply that some zeds assaulted my base while i was away and for surprisingly they chopped down my storage boxes. i lost all my stuff due to that accident. really everything. all the tools level 6 fully modded. thousands of ressources, meds, building components, etc. i usually dont have any fights in that base, so that was a real surprise. and now my entire equipment is just deleted. it makes no sense to even start the game again if i can´t roll back somehow. any ideas?

Unless you're in the habit of making frequent manual backups of the saves, no. There is no roll-back feature. At best, you can go into admin/creative mode and just give yourself as much gear and materials as you remember losing.

edit: This also tells me you had storage crates at ground or mid level, which is ill advised even in presumed safe locations. Always put em up higher or out of reach of wayward zeds.

Yep, seconded. Only a manual copy of the save game folder will let you restore a previous time in the game. Copy the savegame for your world/game to a safe backup place on somewhere else. This is fairly simple to do, since we are just talking about a drag and drop folder copy in windows. And if you need to restore that save, then just copy the backup folder back into the game save folder. You could make a backup every day if you wanted, and just name them 9.25, 9.25, 9.27, etc.

I kind of feel like the spirit of the game is accepting mistakes you make and moving on. Backing up your save in a survival game is like being a priest in a brothel. It just doesn't belong.

You could replace and restock everything with a little work though. Hit f1 to bring up the console and type cm and hit enter (that enables creativemode). Now you can hit the u key to bring up a menu with stacks of anything you want and restock your stuff. Just hit f1 and type cm again to turn it back off when you are done.

I'm with ya on that, I pretty much only use devcommands to replace things that disappear due to a glitch (think the old mini-bike and junk turret glitch), and lately when the quest marker disappears underground I turn on noclip to go down and start the quest.

Yes to the above. Live and learn, it`s survival. I only ever play solo. Two blocks above their ground level "at least" if you are away and good to go. I rekon you could even leave the doors open yeah? I mean....? Not sure about that one hehe. They don`t eat your porrige, sleep in your bed, or steal your stuff. As an aside. I watch very few videos. They simply go too damn fast for me. But having no experience in MP I can`t say but, I see, wow, rows upon rows of storage with countless stacks of resources. Really? "Hey, are you gonna eat that"? lol just sayin. GL zombie killer. Cheers
