Mods with seperate saves?
So I wanted to get some mods for my own game but my girlfriend also plays and absolutely does not want the hardcore mods I do can we have seperate saves? Or will I need to install it for her on her own windows profile? Will that even work?

2 options:

Make a backup you exit your game and also her game (renaming mods folder all the time, yeah, is tedious..

Or, the best one, make another installation of 7 days to die, make a direct access to 7daystodie.exe and stick it in the desktop, choose the one who will play with default way thru steam, and the one with the linked exe.

appreciate the help in addvance!
No need for a second install, unless you are playing separate game client versions. (This is covered in the Pinned thread over in the Support section of the forum.

If you are using different mods for the same game client version, just create a desktop shortcut for each mod using the UserDataFolder argument.

For example, this is my shortcut for Darkness Falls.
"D:\Games\Steam Games\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\7DaysToDie.exe" -UserDataFolder=D:\SaveGames\DF -logfile=D:\SaveGames\DF\logdata.log
I am using my D drive because it is the fastest storage I have, being NVMe RAID.
D:\SaveGames\DF is the root folder for all the saved data. If I create a map the GeneratedWorlds folder will be D:\SaveGames\DF\GeneratedWorlds. I put the mod files into D:\SaveGames\DF\Mods.
