Then open your map. In the top right there is an option to toggle Static Map view. That will remove the map fog and essentially give you an outline layout of the entire map. You also have several overlays you can switch through like Biomes which will show all the biome borders.
Another option is just to grab a screenshot of the map preview when you are generating a new map and save it for reference.
Are the Maps all the same if I use the same name when creating them or is each one individual?

is the seed the name (XXXX) that I have to enter?
I think you have 3 options.
1) google the map name and see if anyone has posted an image.
2) use a 3rd party map previewer. I don't remember the URL but it should be easy to find. You would need to upload your map folder which should be in \7 Days To Die\Data\Worlds. If you can't find the install folder right click on the game in steam, select properties then Installed Files and click Browse.
3) create a local single player game using that map. It should be in the world list when creating a new game. You can then turn on god mode and debug and explore.
