How to give myself multiple items? SP
Playing SP, the game kinda' glitched out on me and I lost a lot of raw iron. I never could find the console command to give myself raw iron but I could give myself regular iron scraps but I haven't been able to figure out how to give myself a specific quantity and I'd really rather not have to type the same console command in over 500 times. Anyone able to tell me how to do that? I tried 'giveself scrapIron' and that gives 1 bit of iron. I then tried 'giveself scrapIron 500' and that also only gives 1. I tried 'giveself 500 scrapIron' but that doesn't work at all. I tried using various brackets around the 500, nothing. Can someone help me out please?

why using console command for this?
just activate creative mode and search for it in the list :)

I didn't even realize that was a thing. Thanks. Is there a way to pull a specific number instead of either a full or half stack? I just tossed the extras to let them despawn but for future reference?

u can pick up the whole stack and keep right clicking or u split the stack over and over an trow the unwanted amount away

You can split a stack much like you'd do in your own inventory when transferring items from creative menu to your inventory - the extra, you just dump them back in an empty spot in the creative menu and they go poof in there.

To do this in game without exiting just hit F1 > then type "cm" for creative menu > then tab and at the top right you should see a light bulb icon. Typing dm will open the developer menu, when you hit escape you will have access to some more options to test with. F6 pulls up the spawn entities menu. All of this makes testing the game much easier and saves a lot of time.
