With the advent of the 1st beta, I noticed that when holding shift for less than a second, the automatic running mode is activated, along with this, I got slap in the face by a zombie because of this function. I play on a high difficulty with zombies running around the clock for many years before this function appeared, saving stamina and precise control of the distance in close combat are important to me... But this fking sticking of running simply does not allow me to properly monitor stamina and distance, since at a random moment my character can start running instead of walking and killing my last brain cells
Is there a way to remove this function? In my opinion, something like this should be optional, for example, the crouch have two keys and variations accordingly

С появлением 1 беты я заметил, что при зажатии шифта менее чем на секунду, включается автоматический режим бега, в месте с этим я получил по лицу от зомби из за этой функции. Я играю на высокой сложности с круглосуточно бегающими зомби за многие годы до появления этой функции, мне важна экономия выносливости и четкий контроль дистанции в ближнем бою... Но это cpaное залипание бега просто не позволяет мне надлежащим образом следить за выносливостью и дистанцией, так как в рандомный момент мой персонаж вместо ходьбы может начать бежать и убивать мои последние клетки мозга
Есть ли способ убрать эту фунцию? По моему подобное должно быть опциональным, например те же приседания имеют две клавишы и вариации соотвественно

There is a "Sprint Lock" setting under keyboard/mouse settings / options. Turn that off if it is enabled.
