pink houses and blocks

I am new to this game. I am pink, blockes and houses are also pink... please help

Is this with an older savegame, or with a totally new game? If the game was a fresh start and you still see this, validate the game's filed from the Steam Library (right-click the game, local files tab, last button in the list).

it was from a new game. I validated the game file started a new game and it's the same.

pink houses? Can you post a screenshot? Maybe a missing texture but what Jaga said should fix that.

Are you running any mods?
What are your system specifications?
Can you post a copy of output_log.txt to pastebin.com and reply with the link?

Pink stuff usually indicates missing textures. If you did a file validation, it isn't working properly. Might want to remove the game from Steam, then delete the game's folder manually, then reinstall it fresh.

Definitely looks like texture issues. What graphics card do you have?
I also notice you have really low FPS. Try to run the game with minimum settings?

That's missing textures. I saw that with an old save game I loaded long ago when smooth terrain ffirst came out - really funky seeing a lot of stuff kind of "missing" being as they'd revamped a lot of the plant graphics in the desert and such - so I was missing a lot of graphics from the game file.
