Raw diamond
Any tips where to find and how the raw diamond. Where better to dig and what to dig ?

Treasure maps is where I see them most. I guess putting points into Miner69er (or maybe Mother Lode) increases the chance of finding one from mining ore.

Mining:

Iron ore
Lead ore
Coal ore
Potassium Nitrate ore
Oil Shale deposit

Also,

Coffins

The Books: The Art Of Mining - Lucky Stirke, and Wasteland Treasures - Coffins, also have an effect on finding diamonds.

Safes are another good source, I think one of the Heist books increases the odds of gems in safes too.

Aside from digging (if you have the perk, and even then it's rare) the best places to find them are hidden stash crates and buried treasure chests (from maps, NOT trader jobs.)

Treasure maps are different than quests. They have a name associated with them. The names are:

taylor
nickole
stephan
jennifer
claude
sarah
raphael
