Another option I'll throw out is to make your own modlets that modify the game, they are super easy to make. You could make a modlet for the auger that turns it into a super no gas needed digger for example.
get a mod to give you more points per lvl.
you can change it to 2 to 20 or more per lvling up.
2. Why the heck do you need to use CE when the developer has already opened everything up for you via creative and modding? (as nearly every post in this thread has pointed out.)
But making or downloading a mod would be more "clean", and you don't need CE for this.
EDIT: LOL I forgot - game have build-in speedhack. Enable debug mode and just press +/- on numpad
E2: I was curios so I just checked CE - simple "enable speedhack" doesn't work in 7dtd.
