Inventory Defaults

Hey all, WITHOUT RUNNING MODS, in the vanilla game, is there anyway when i select to move all from my inventory to a storage box or vehicle, that i can select certain items or a set of inventory slots that do not move the items?

for example, if i have a pistol in my top left slot in my backpack and a full inventory and i hit the move all to whatever storage, is there a way for that to ignore the pistol in the slot alone and not move it?

please let me know. thanks.

well yeah, but he specifically said, in all caps, that he won't run mods.

I like that they added the "dump all" and "dump anything that will fill a stack" options. I'd really like to see them add in a number you can set, which indicates how many slots in your bag are not affected by the sort and transfer buttons - played a few conversion mods like Darkness Falls that have that, it's great to be able to say something like your first 5 bag slots are locked to anything but manual dragging of items.

Yep, looks like that is the mod they rolled into Darkness Falls.

Would be great to see in vanilla, and then it would cover the OP's "no mods" requirement.

The coding is in the game already, commented out. The mod removes the comments "<!--" and "-->" and adds pretty icons. 5:20 mark in video. So, they are probably planning this to be a future addition.

Ah, will have to watch it when I'm not at work. I just saw the screen shot and recognized the button layout. Nice piece of info there!

exactly, it would save a lot of time to be able to have it not select those slots you designate
