Wheres the cooking pot in A20 ? [SOLVED]

Scavenged 2 big towns and nothing.
is it just bad luck or somethings changed in A20 ?

Seems to be just unlucky RNG. I found like 5 in the first town i looted.

if you have the fore you can also make that and the grill if your being that unlucky finding one.

However I do feel your pain having had a very bad RNG run that was nearly game breaking.

I also remember when you could go almost 3 weeks without a cooking pot in earlier alphas.

In reality, a cooking pot is basically any metallic vessel. Just use the admin console to give yourself it, among other simple things when the game starts. There is no reason to not have a pot suitable for cooking after looting even few houses. Same goes for potatoes, corn, crucible (=a clay pot), etc.

In games where there is nothing else than wilderness, those things would be hard to get. But in this game, a player should basically have them right away. So my suggestion is to get them right away using the admin console.

yeah right, this smacks of ..actually didn't loot that much or ran through a poi at full speed and didn't see the pot sitting on top of the fridge ( usual place btw)..

Usually I would agree, but in this the smell of RNG is too strong and the items behind it are too simple and basic for a crafting game happening in deserted villages. Think of it as helping the game to entertain you.

I was not entertained searching for clay pots when I already had an entire functioning forge. And I know I would not find a search for a metal vessel entertaining. I would just take the cooking pot.

Hit up all the kitchens you can find. Usually in a city there's those food service trailers/trucks that have a cooking pot on one of the stoves.

yes i looked in to those found bunch of grills but no cooking pots. Guess just unlucky.

Just unlucky, yeah. I feel like I find one in just about every regular house, just about.

Well, they do seem a bit less common then in A19. You could have a bad early luck start where you have a hard time finding one.

That said they're still found in the common areas, like kitchens, ovens/stoves etc. Just the odds seem to be a bit lower now, especially in bigger POI's vs. "regular ol' homes" POI's.
