However I do feel your pain having had a very bad RNG run that was nearly game breaking.
I also remember when you could go almost 3 weeks without a cooking pot in earlier alphas.
In games where there is nothing else than wilderness, those things would be hard to get. But in this game, a player should basically have them right away. So my suggestion is to get them right away using the admin console.
if you cheat and give yourself everything, what's the point of playing?
Especially if you looted two entire towns.
yeah right, this smacks of ..actually didn't loot that much or ran through a poi at full speed and didn't see the pot sitting on top of the fridge ( usual place btw)..
I was not entertained searching for clay pots when I already had an entire functioning forge. And I know I would not find a search for a metal vessel entertaining. I would just take the cooking pot.
That said they're still found in the common areas, like kitchens, ovens/stoves etc. Just the odds seem to be a bit lower now, especially in bigger POI's vs. "regular ol' homes" POI's.
