I CAN'T PLAY MY WORLD AFTER THE UPDATE
I had a world in the latest version, and after the update, the game tells me that my world does not exist and to check for missing mods. I had about 5 mods in my game. Is there any way to recover my world? Can I play a previous version or transfer the data from that version to a new one? I would appreciate a response, as I have few hours in the game and this is the first time it has happened to me. It’s quite discouraging to have to start over given the progress I had already made. If you have any other recommendations for things I could do, I would be grateful. Best regards!

Well it's experimental for a reason, and playing with mods won't increase the stabilty so backups are kind a obligatory.

You could check your world and saves:
%appdata%\7DaysToDie
Probably you find somethin there

It's also possible to copy your player data to another world.
Or another option is to start a new world in creative mode, give you everything you "lost" and disable creative mode then. That's also possible with F1(console)→dm (debug mode)

Read the notes on the 7days steam page. There’s a Google Drive link where you can download the pregen worlds and simply paste the one you lost into a specific folder. Super easy and my world was playable again after doing this.

Only thing I noticed was my trader quests were set back to Tier II for whatever reason.

Hello, is there a link at hand to find that drive or can someone explain how to do it?

If you go to the game in your steam library, and look at news for it, there is a news release on this. It includes this link and instructions.

Also note that looking there when you have questions about any new version in the future is often a good place to start. Probably faster than posting here and waiting for someone to be helpful.

You will have to open your red save game and look at the world number, it will look like 'Pregen06KB'. This is your world, if it has been updated you need to follow the link, copy the same file and paste it into your worlds folder. It might be hard to find, most files for steam games are here, or something very similar:

C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\7 Days to Die.

Worlds are usually under 'Data\ Worlds' in the 7DTD folder, paste your old world back here and hopefully it will work, your save game should turn green.

Thanks, I was able to recover the items, they look good, the map too, the only thing I did not recover was the seller's level is at 2, the rest is fine
