DEATH penatly question?? (help)
Me and my friends are looking for hardcore settings, we like the idea of permadeath since you really DONT want to die, but losing all progression becomes tedious if you die from something STUPID.

Exp loss is not a big penalty enough, and injured is meh too, is there a way to combine both or have any mods or way to make dying feel terrible but without losing all your SKILLS and EXP.

Delete all items we thought about it, but felt that losing some super high tier geared up weapon would be more annoying than anything else.

We want something that makes you watch where you step basically. Where dying is not a option to remove ''debuffs'' or stuff.

I never tried mods for death penalty, but I play with delete all and status debuffs after death. It does makes me very careful, especially in the first half of the game where losing your best gear is a huge set back because you don't have a spare and still must face the BM horde and your tier POIs.

The game, itself doesn't go far enough. Die, start over, completely.

I set inventory/tool belt to delete on death as incentive to not continue that game. I'll re-use the map a few times, but never the same save.

Injured really is the best balance as the de-buffs carry over. Except when they break an arm, leg, and then a concussion right as they die.
