How to send World save to a friend

Hello I would like to ask if there is a way to send a World save file to my friend because all the ones i have seen are old and dont work anymore. So if anyone could help me with this i would really apreciate your help

is where your worlds are stored you can prob just crab a copy and send it to him

Yes i found it and made copy of the world but my friend doesnt know where to put it. I found the world save file in %appdata% and in the 7days to die saves folder and sent it to him but when my friend got it and tried putting it in the same place it didnt work. So if i may ask do you know where exactly do we need to move the file so it upload to my friend?

appdata is, by default, a hidden system folder. Does your friend have hidden folders/files visible? If you've always reached that location via the %appdata% search command, I think that overrides hidden folder re: searching since you're using a direct path route (or something). eg, the hidden folder setting can/will still be actively hiding stuff when looking for the directory in the actual file explorer. Edit: eg, perhaps that is part of the issue?

And again, you must have hidden files checked to be visible.
If you are in File Explorer, click on File, pick Change file/folder options. Pick the View tab. Under Hidden files and folders check show hidden files/folders etc.

It probably did work, if all you sent was the map data, then he still has to select your map and make a new game.

If you want him to continue your game, you will need to send him the map data, and save game data, which is in the saves folder. This way he can find your base and changes you have made to the world.
