Toggle sprint is annoying af

I tap shift ONCE to move forward a little bit, Now every time I press W it's automatically sprinting unless I tap sprint again to stop it, Any way to disable this??

I wish I knew how to disable it because I can't stand it either !

Go to Options/ Keyboard. On the first tab, Sprint Lock.

Bugged, I tried everything to fix it, clean install etc, but nothing helps. The sprint lock option on or off has no impact on it.

Issue is it's already saying it's off for me, I thought that might have been it at first but I saw it was already at "No" So I turned it on and off again and it's still there

If you have 'launch options' set to 'always ask' in the game properties (right click game in steam) it should pop up a menu when you hit 'Play.' One of those options is to 'Reset' settings. Maybe try that. Then when you launch the game, you'll have to optimize stuff again but, maybe the keybinds options will be working correctly for you. Worth a shot.
