Fake res and fake frames result in higher displayed FPS numbers and bigger numbers is betterer!
Although some people use DLSS to mean DLAA and DLAA could be actually useful.
I have an AMD card, so I can use fake res and fake frames in any game I like. I tried fake frames in 7DTD. It worked as intended - it inflated the FPS counter and increased lag.
Fake res can be useful in some cases. But, as you say, not in 7DTD.
thanks bro u really contributed to the discussion
In depending of a game & of the type game, that can result sometime/manytime a "visual fake error" in game...
I'm going to exaggerate what I'm going to say but that's how it is work, example, if a zombie is on the left & he go to the right by pass the point A B C D E, with this technologies is ON, that will create pictures in this way, so you will see on your screen the zombie move to left to the right but when you will shoot him in the right, that can be a miss because in fact for the game itself the zombie is always on the move point C & not be in the move point E like you see on the screen...
One of my friend said that 7DTD is bug, he got a miss shoot zombie many time & even with other games... I checked games/GPU option after set OFF both of this technologie, not miss shoot anymore with 7DTD & other games...
